It bursts my ears. This problem occurs specifically when the app is just launched (as opposed to being brought back from background) and when the first song is played. The volume just spikes up to what I believe to be max for one split second and then return to whatever the volume setting says. This is absolutely frustrating.
I am running Premium, v. 8.5.51.941 on Pixel 3, android 10, Streaming quality set to automatic and equalizer is enabled.
I should add that this problem occurred a few years back in my older phones too, but it appeared to have stopped since this pixel phone - but no it is apparently coming back.
P.S. This problem has been raised before, but in 2013 and still not solved? It deserves a new thread.
