My Question or Issue
When connecting to the USB port in my Ford Focus 2014 Spotify keeps skipping tracks after 0,5 seconds, it just keeps doing that in all eternity. If one song is playing while I connect, the song will finish but then start skipping once the next song is about to start. This is hugely annoying and I have tested 6 different phones including Android and Oneplus, and playing music from Apple Music works and also podcasts, so it is definitily a problem with Spotify itself.
What I have tried:
- 6 different phones (Apple, Android, Oneplus), including old versions of iOS back to iOS9. Some older versions makes the problem less worse, the skipping will sometimes randomly stop and play a song, and then go back to skipping. Some models also let me play 2-3 seconds of the song before skipping instead of skipping immediately.
- Uninstall and reinstall Spotify (duh...).
- Logged out from all devices.
- Pressed the "info"-button on my car while playing songs (read somewhere that this would help, which it didn't).
I have read lots of threads dating back to as early as 2013, and STILL this problem seems to not been worked out yet. How is that even possible? This should be a priority since a lot of people listen to music in their car.
