My Question or Issue

Hey y'all. I have been reading on some forums about how one would go about syncing local files that I have on my desktop to my phone, and absolutely none of it has worked. All of the titles are there but they are grey'd out. I've got it connected to my hotspot set to usb data transfer as well, and even downloaded on my Pixel  and i still cant find a way to add those songs.

Can someone walk me through it? I'd like to just be able to sync the songs between devices. If I can't then I have them downloaded on my phone, so how do i add them? Thanks for reading.
