my little sister has a similar problem that seems to be linked to her account, not the device. The searches don't load, the artists pages won't load etc. It works slightly better when it is in offline mode, but you need to go online to download new stuff eventually.
When I log into my account on her phone there is no problem, the searches work and though it's a bit slow it's usable. The other way around, when she logged into her account on my phone the problems are the same. We did all the troubleshooting steps that are suggested in the fixes for Android. As it stands now it seems the only thing we can still do is delete the account entirely and give her a new one.
Here a few details:
-She has a Spotify family
-shes on an android (Galaxy S6)
- there is no SIM card in her phone
-the version is 8.5.78.909
