I understand the usage of a voting system on new ideas to filter out a large number of posts that are not reasonable or wanted by the spotify community, but the fact that a post needs an arbitrary number of votes to even be considered creates a barrier between the users and the company. This especially makes no sense when a post can be marked as a "good idea", given votes and comments in support of the post, but still no effort is made by Spotify to even consider the change or new feature. Not trying to sound upset here but just wanted to point out that this is not the best way to hear feedback from your users. An idea doesn't need an exact number of votes in a forum that is only looked at by a small fraction of your users to be worth implementing.
