My Question or Issue
When a physical keyboard is plugged in (I have a Logitech K400+ with a proprietary USB dongle, not Bluetooth), the TV doesn't show the on-screen keyboard. That's fine, except it seems like the Android TV version of Spotify only accepts input from the on-screen keyboard to the search box. If I type on my physical keyboard with the search box selected, nothing appears. It's a rather infuriating experience to have to either a) get up and unplug the dongle or b) use my phone to search for music to play on the TV.
Every other app (YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, Opera - which I'm using to submit this message from the TV itself, etc.) works absolutely fine with the physical keyboard. Why doesn't Spotify?
