My Question or Issue
Every single time an update for Spotify is pushed to Google Play, the next time I open Spotify it will have logged itself out and generates an error when attempting to log in again. I've attempted every possible fix one could think of---cache, data, restarting, safe mode, factory reset, etc---but the only way to get it working again would be to reinstall the app.
Considering updates are pushed every week or two this has become extremely annoying, as the reinstall forces me to start from scratch and reapply all settings as well as download specific playlists once more; I've had to do this over a dozen times already. On that note, I find it strange the app data would be wiped from a simple reinstall, so perhaps this glitch is causing this or some other sort of corruption to occur
Also, the issue would seem to be be related to devices still running Android Pie, as I've experienced the exact same issue on multiple such devices.
