My Question or Issue
Hello, I’ve been using the local files feature for years, but in the last few weeks almost all the synced files on my phone became unplayable.
As i said I know how the feature works, so i tried to get the bottom of the problem and i found that all the files that contained more than one word in their names were being synced incorrectly (no space between the words) in the “Synced Files” Folder of the Files App (for example “my way” as “myway).
I realized that the only playable songs on the app were the ones that were only one word. So i tried renaming every file one by one to see if that would fix it, and for a minute it did, then the app automatically renamed every file and the songs were unplayable again.
I already tried uploading the files directly from my phone but this way it doesn’t show the cover art when i play the songs.
More info: i already tried doing a clean reinstall of both the spotify and the files app; the files are all mp3’s.
Please help i’m clueless at this point
