My Question or Issue

Local casting from the Spotify app on both android smartphones at home to Google home and Chromecast was working flawlessly for years until today. Nothing happens when selecting a device to cast in the app, the icon keeps blinking but no connection. Casting from chrome browser on computers is still working, and casting from other apps/services from the phones is still working fine. So the problem is the spotify app. It has been deleted and clean reinstalled on the phones without a result. I can launch Spotify by voice on the Google home and play songs but there is no link with the Android app. The icon keeps blinking in the app when the device is selected but nothing happen on the chromecasts.
