Great work on the update, thank you so much for sorting this out - for me at least functionality is restored perfectly.
I read your apology on the update log but next time, please consider just a single tweet or such direct from @SpotifyCares or @Spotify at least, just to let everyone know that you are aware of the issues and are fixing them.
We understand that you're busy draining Starbucks of their reserves to get the update out but it only takes 30s max to take a lot of anxiety out of your paying customers.
