Hi all,
Hopeing someone can help, I have been asked to get the Spotify app working within my school on iPads. At first we thought it was the Proxy/webfilter which all web traffic is directed at. I released the various IP address mentioned in the posts here but no joy. In the end I still keep the proxy settings in but set the iPad to a IP address that is let thought the firewall and it worked!!!
This must mean the iPad app doesn't use either the standard ports for web traffic 80 and 443 as the webfilter would pick this up, or if you have entered proxy settings under the HTTP PROXY under your connect wireless network this is also ignored.
Could someone confirm these findings and also if this is correct what port numbers does the app use to connect so maybe I can let them thought?
Thanks
