Who Me Too'd this topic

Newest update kills local file sync.

Spotify Version: 2.1.0.2676
Account: Premium
iOS: 8.1.1
iPhone: 5S
Mac Desktop OS: Yosemite 10.10.1

Updated to the latest Spotify version yesterday. It removed all of my locally synced music (the tracks not available on Spotify, like AC/DC and Tool). Now it won't re-sync them. The Playlists show up as synced, but those tracks are blacked out and give me the "If you own the song, you can sync it from your computer" message. Following the usual steps does not work. If I choose to "Sync All Tracks" it DOES work, but I don't want to do that- not enough room on my iPhone for everything (I THINK this works, anyway- I see a progress bar and it appears to be working, but I cancel it after a few tracks). But there is enough room for the few tracks I want (I have 5 Gigs free). Creating a new playlist and adding those songs to it for syncing does not work either. Nothing has changed about my router setup or my laptop since my last successful sync. The only variable here is the newest Spotify version.

What's next? And please don't tell me I have to delete Spotify and re-sync everything AGAIN. I have to do that EVERY TIME YOU UPDATE THE SOFTWARE.
