10 Hours limit per month (german)

Solved!

10 Hours limit per month (german)

Hallo,

habe mich vor 3 Tagen bei SPotify angemeldet. (Free)

MfG Marcel

Hey 🙂

You must have created your account 6 months ago and not used it. The account restrictions come into effect 6 months from the day your account is created. How much you use it in those 6 months is irrelevant.

For more information on free account restrictions, have a look here.

thx dude!

But i think u got me wrong 😉

Well the FAQ says you can listen to music unlimited for the first 6 months.

However i only used spotify for 3 days so i dont rly get why i got blocked.

Sorry if i am just not getting it.

With best regards Marcel

Hey again 🙂

Did you log into your account using Facebook or a Spotify username and password?

It could be if you are using Facebook that at some time in the past you clicked a Spotify link inside Facebook which would automatically activate your Spotify free account.

I'm going to escalate this to the forum staff for you to see if they can look into your account details.

Hi M4GnI,

You created your Spotify account back in April this year. The 6 months is the time since creating the account.

Well that is possible that i clicked on something but i never rly used spotify so its rly anoying since i enjoyed the last 3 days...

Is there something i can do bymyself?

You can purchase an unlimited subscription to remove the adverts and time limits from the desktop client if you like.

More information is available here.

If it is true what "hammeh said" :"It could be if you are using Facebook that at some time in the past you clicked a Spotify link inside Facebook which would automatically activate your Spotify free account."

--> Then I am of the firm opinion that it is a big mistake of Spotify to activate an account which i never used since i have only clicked in the past on a link inside facebook... Neither did I register myself nor did i accept any terms.

Nevertheless i do want to thank you for your quick answers.
