Artist being paid when Spotify links back to local files?

I have a question. There are some songs which are in the Spotify database but which I have as Mp3 as well. I did open playlists searching on Spotify (so not adding the local file). The songs have the same style as songs I don't have on my PC (so everything written in white, the artist isn't written in grey and there isn't the arrow-down-sign which local-files do have). But Spotify is automatically linking back to the Mp3-file on my PC as it still plays when I'm offline without me having downloaded the playlist and sometimes the Mp3s are low quality so I "know" by the sound Spotify is playing my local files and is not streaming.

Now I'm asking myself: Is a play still counted in this situation? Or does the artists gets no money at all?

I know artists don't get anything when local files are being played, obviously. But what happens when a song that is on Spotify is being played but you have them as Mp3 as well and Spotify links back to your local file?
