Can I change my spotify fb-account into a non-fb account?

Can I change my spotify fb-account into a non-fb account?

Hey, I'm from germany and I just read that now you are able to create an oldschool non-facebook account from here. Because I'm using spotify with my facebook account and the fact that I want to change this I have a few questions: Can I change my existing premium account to a non-fb (premium) account or do I have to create a new one? And when I do so, what happens to my playlists and starred tracks I've created using my spotify fb-account (I don't want to loose them that's why I'm asking)?

You must create a new Spotify account. Your Facebook account has a "username" made up of numbers, and it's not possible to change a username.

You have to copy+paste your old playlists manually. You can select songs inside Spotify and press Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste, like they were text.

By copy+paste you mean locate them on my HDD and then paste them back into spotify using my new account? grrr, just saw that my premium account was renewed today...-.-***

No, I mean highlighting songs in blue when you click on them. Click any song and press Ctrl+A while on a playlist to highlight all songs in the playlist, then press Ctrl+C to copy.

Then, on your new account, make an empty playlist and press Ctrl+V to paste them in.

If your playlists are published, you can search for them on your new account so you don't have to keep logging out and in.
