Can’t log in via facebook

I have a premium account and have only ever logged in via Facebook. Suddenly I was logged out of Spotify and cannot log back in. I follow the steps of logging in via facebook and it says “this email and password combination is incorrect”. This is on iOS

I’ve tried:
-reinstalling Spotify
-reinstalling Facebook
-disconnecting and reconnecting Spotify to Facebook
-resetting password on Spotify (never receive email)
-logging in without password (never receive email with the link)
-FYI, it’s definitely the right email address because it’s what I use for Facebook and when I go to set up a new Spotify account with it, it says it’s already linked to an account.

Please help!

Thanks for reaching out and kudos for the troubleshooting you've already tried.

Note that if your Spotify account is created via or connected to Facebook, you should be able to access it by clicking on the button Continue with Facebook and entering your Facebook credentials. If you're then getting a wrong password error message, we'd suggest reaching out to Facebook support for further help.

Be aware also that you can set up a separate password for Spotify which you can use in combination with your Facebook email address to log into Spotify in case you're not able to access your Facebook account. To do this, just enter your Facebook email address in the password reset form and create the password from the email link you receive. 

If you haven't received the password reset email, check your spam folder and make sure that the domain spotify.com is not being filtered.

thanks for responding. When I click “continue with Facebook” it does not give me the option to enter my Facebook credentials. It takes me to a screen where it says “you previously logged into Spotify with Facebook, would you like to continue?” I press “continue as <name>”, it then takes me back to Spotify where it says “this email and password combination is incorrect”. (Noting that I am currently logged into Facebook on the same device and it’s all fine). Any suggestions?

This sounds like an issue with your account and since we don't have any access to it, it's best to reach out to the folks over at Customer Support, as they're the ones who can take a closer look at this and assist you further.

My Question or Issue

Since the past hour, I can't seem to login to Spotify with my Facebook account. On desktop, it says that something went wrong and on my phone, it tells me that the combination of email address and password is not correct.

Even more worse: I also regularly upload podcasts through this account and now, I cannot login to Spotify for Creators as well and not access my podcast anymore.

My Question or Issue

I can't add google, apple ID as methods to login. I also cannot reset my password. It doesn't send a link to me. I wonder if it's because my spotify is linked to Facebook login only and I no longer have Facebook.

My Facebook account is permanently disabled for unclear reason given by Facebook. I can't activate the Facebook account anymore and I use it to login to Spotify but now I can't login because of it. When I use the email that's attached to Facebook, it's directed to different Spotify account instead. And I still have premium Spotify in the Facebook Spotify account
