Cannot login at work because facebook is blocked!!

Cannot login at work because facebook is blocked!!

I cannot log into my spotify account when I am at work because my employer blocks facebook.  I created a separate account without facebook so i can use the web player however I am getting all of the ads.  I pay for premium, so this is SUPER annoying.  How can I change my login information or add an alternate so that I can log in at work and get the benefits of my premium membership?

Hey there, welcome to the Community.

 

As your Premium account was created through Facebook you'll always need to have access to your Facebook account to log into Spotify. If work won't unblock Facebook (they're mean!) you'll need to cancel your existing subscription and get a new one started on your non-Facebook-connected account.

 

Your current subscription is due for renewal in 3 days so now's probably a good time to make the switch. Then feel free to PM me with your username and I can copy your playlists between accounts.

I have the same problem - and my employer will never unblock facebook. So I need to create a new account with a password? Will I be able to use the same email address? Then do I need you guys to copy the playlists? I could PM Adam - Idon't know what that means (a bit older I am). I have an unlimited account.

Use the online contact form and someone at Spotify can help get this sorted. If you get an automated reply directing you back to the community or to the help pages, make sure to reply to it directly (even though it says not to) to speed things along.

Same issue here! Can i delete-signup-PM an admin to copy the playlists?

@LoSfrek - If you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they will be able to guide you through what is needed. Normally, they can do everything almost everything for you!


If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hello!!! Thank you so much for posting the answer to the question that has stymied me since I started my new job!!!!! I would like to transfer my premium account please to this new account I created without logging onto Facebook. My previous username was Anne Scott.

Actually- I just found out that I can't even get on Spotify. I can't download the player because of restrictions and the web player is blocked as well.

 

So PLEASE DONT CHANGE MY ACCOUNT!!!
