Can`t see pictures on the left or search music????

After I upgraded I no longer can search music or see pictures to the left in the window at Spotify. It is completly black at the major part of the screen. Only my playlist can be seen (the menu to the left).

I have turned of proxy, re-installed Spotify, upgraded Java and Flashplayer. 

Anything else I can do??

Someone else experienced this?

Help much appreciated!

Try running with acceleration disabled:

This was very helpful and it worked, but.....

Do I have to do this everytime?

I tried to open Spotify again by clicking on the icon on my desktop and the problems appeared again.

Do I have to run this command everytime I want to start Spotify??

Unfortunately at the minute yes. You can also add the command into the "Target" box of the desktop icon properties and use that to launch Spotify for the time being (or make a copy of the icon, so you can revert easily!).

And a big angry face to the people at Spotify for not delievering a  good service that we are paying for!!!!!

As I have read in here, this problem has accured for many users for some time now - this should be fixed by them!!!
