Change country to login, but I can't change country

I made a free account when I was in Canada, but now I'm in the Caribbean for medical school. Apparently, free users can only access Spotify for 14 days in a new location, but I've been using it here in the Caribbean for over a year now with no problems, until today. I opened the app this morning and it said I couldn't log in until I changed my location. I tried changing my location in my account settings, but it didn't give me any option other than Canada. What do I do?

Samsung Galaxy S9 and MacBook Pro

Operating System

Android 10 and macOS Big Sur 11.1

Welcome to Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out here!

Please, try to change your country again, but now using an incognito tab on your desktop. Just follow this:

  1. Log in to your account page
  2. Click EDIT PROFILE
  3. Scroll down to Country or region and select your new place from the dropdown list.
    Note: Your new country or region only shows when you’re actually there.
  4. Click SAVE PROFILE.

Note: If necessary, allow the Spotify website to access your location.
