Change of e-mail

Solved!

Change of e-mail

Hello. Now I have a spotify account on my mail <<SNIP>>. The e-mail are my old email.
I want my new email registered on spotify instead, <<SNIP>>.

When I try to register my new email it says that it is already registered. When I ask for user information to the new email it says that this needs to be changed on Facebook since they are connected. But I do not understand how I should go about it, because I have removed the Facebook link. I have tried to get the user information sent to new e-mail again after I disconnected it from Facebook, but it is still the same.

I have paid for three months (premium) on the old email address (<<SNIP>>) I want spotify account on my new email (<<SNIP>>) Can you arrange this?

My birth cerfiticate number: <<SNIP>>

Thankful for fast answers!

Anita Jonsson

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

It is probably best if you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you further with this. I've also hidden your personal details from your post, definitely not a good idea to post those in the public domain!

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

@bohema - Yup, sounds like it is from Spotify, those are the general security details they ask to prove ownership of an account.

I just contactedsupport through the link provided because I am in a similar situation. Facebook and spotify accounts are linked and my new e-mail will not update.

I'm posting here because the support message I got said that they would reply to my old e-mail - which I don't have access to. haha

I wanted to change my password, but got an error that said that  the e-mailadress allredy exist and in use.

I contacted Spotify and said that I don't know if I have another account with the same e-mailadresse (is that posible?), but I want to keep the account that I'm using (with facebook) and are paying for every month.

I got this answere, but is it really from Spotify, I don't want to give personal information and part of my creditcard number if its not from Spotify.
