Declining my card?

Declining my card?

I went to change the card on my profile because the old one expired and even though I have plenty of money on my debit card and it doesn't expire until 2015 it keeps getting declined. The only difference is that it is a new debt card number and expiration date. This is seriously driving me nuts, I would love it if there was more contact information on this website than an address and these forums. I know it isn't because of my bank because it is the same bank as before and I didn't have these problems. So any info on this would be excellent. Thanks.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

 

First thing to check out is the Payment Declined FAQ to make sure your card meets all the requirements for paying for Spotify. 


If you are still having issues, you will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you further with this.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
