Different facebook linked to account with completely different email

For some reason my mother's Facebook is linked to my spotify though her email address is different than mine so why is it when I log in with my email it's linked to her facebook?

You might've accidentally connected your mother's Facebook account to your Spotify account while being logged in there. 

Just get to a computer, make sure you're logged out from Facebook, and follow these steps for a quick fix:

1. Open the Spotify desktop app.
2. Click the arrow in the top-right corner of the app.
3. Click Settings.
4. Under Social, click DISCONNECT FROM FACEBOOK.
5. Click CONNECT TO FACEBOOK.
6. Enter your correct Facebook details and click Log In.

Note: It can take up to 24 hours for the changes to be visible.

I tried this but the Disconect from Facebook option does not appear on the desktop app.
