Does Spotfiy music delete from your phone/iPod after the subscription is over?

If I was to buy someone a 3 month subscription, and they were to use it and save music and playlists to their device, once the three months was up would that music that was already saved delete?

Spotify is a streaming service so the subscription fee/gift cards provide access to particular services for a particular time period. If you bought someone 3-months Premium, they'd get Premium benefits for 3 months (on-demand on all devices, no ads, offline playlists, etc.), but after 3 months they'd be back on our free service. They'd still have playlist access but they wouldn't be able to listen offline and would see some ads.

And don't forget Spotify free on mobile devices doesn't have on demand playback, so on Spotify free you can only listen to playlists and artist catalogues in shuffle mode.
