Facebook, No Other Way?

I just wanted to upgrade my account to Unlimited when i was asked to give my facebook password. I made my account before it was possible to bypass fb.

Since i don't want to mix my fb account with any money related services (hello schufa), i ask you: is there no other solution than to delete your acount on spotify, loosing all your playlists, friends, charts?

i read all the other posts, but i cannot find anything, so a simple "no there is no other way" would be enough

If you joined Spotify before our integration with Facebook then you certainly don't need to join FB to upgrade. It sounds as though you've just made a duplicate account that's linked to your Facebook as well. 

You've then signed into the Facebook account, not your orignal, and when you tried to upgrade. Please try signing out and signing back with in with your Spotify username (not your email) and try the upgrade again.
