Facebook name and picture still linked

So I'm guessing my account was hacked because when I opened Spotify on my phone it showed another device available that was a PC I've never heard of. I went to my account and it was linked with some random persons Facebook. I then clicked sign out everywhere, then changed my password, then unlinked their Facebook. The problem is that their name and photo still shows up on spotify. I've tried reinstalling the client but that doesn't work. It shows their name and picture on my PC and on my phone but it doesn't show when I log into my account in the browser. How do I get Spotify to display my name again?

I know you said you unlinked the Facebook account attached to your Spotify, but have you tried re-linking it to your own Facebook account? Via the desktop app or through your mobile app.

Alright I linked it to my Facebook account but it's still their details

I got a similair issue....when one of our family member added his FB page, and disconnected it,,,the small avatar and his name is now still primary....we want to get rid of it....we removed all clients and connections (caches etc)...its somewhere cached on the spotify servers...

can you guide how we can fix this?

Hi kyronhull,

The details/profile picture do take awhile to update in the app - this is normally replaced on the next update.  The other 'user' should not have access to your account (if you have changed the password), but their picture will show for a few days.

Please let the support team know if you continue to get problems with this.
