Family Account

Hi, we are using a family account and I thought that the point was, that we can use Spotify simultaneously on different devices. However, when be both use Spotify we always get the message, that the Account is being used elsewhere? Is there a solution for this problem. I though we have separate account.

Hi @Olga_CH thanks for posting in the Spotify Community! 

It sounds like you might be trying to use the admin account at the same time is that correct? The family account works with individual accounts and one paying family member who sends out invitations to the other accounts. Have a flick through this FAQ and that will tell you how to do this and how you can get up and running but most importantly you will each need individual Spotify accounts. If you haven't got your own accounts you can sign up to free accounts here.

Hi, @bearfootrecords yes. I upgraded my old premium account to a family account. So, do I actually have to open a new account for myself too?

Yep, each family member needs their own unique account. Most of it is covered in the FAQ I sent but if you have any more questions then fire away!
