Family premium but daughter lives with her mother

Hi,

I was considering getting a Spotify premium family account. I'm currently a free account user living in Galway, Ireland. However my daughter lives with her mother (she's the real driver pushing me to do this) in Leeds. Even though my daugther spends considerable amount of time with me in Ireland she technically lives in Leeds. Does this mean if I get a spotify family account that she wouldn't be able to be one of the members?

You can check out the FAQ support article on the restrictions here. Since she does reside in the same physical address as you (the subscription's administrator) she should be able to join in the plan with no issues.

Thanks Kate,

I'm not sure you understand what I was saying in so far as she lives with her mother but comes to stay with me on holidays. However, she will want to use the service while at her mothers as well as when she is with me.

If that's ok then I'm golden! If not then I'm snookered!

Hey again! I understood what you said. Since she does live with you, she should be able to get in on the plan with no issue. Keep in mind that when joining in she may need to verify the address. After that she can use her Premium even when she's with her mom or even abroad.
