My spotify acocunt has been hijacked. I have used spotify for years now, but somone else is now using my account, has changed the email adress, personal details and password. They have also deleted my playlist.  I can now only get access via my facebook login. I have sent 3 messages to spotify about this but have so far had no repsonse and my account is still hijacked. This is really frustraiting to see my play lists are being deleted and even worse that someone using my premium-account, im paying for it and cant manage the account anymore!

the problem is also that the currenct emailadress registrered on my account do not belong to me... so please dont send something to that adress... if u want the "real deal" adress i can write it here if you want me 2..

problem solved!!! thanks for all help!

My Account has also been hijacked. My username is "baleke". I am unable to reset the password as my account credentials have been changed and the email to reset the password is going elsewhere. As there is no meaningful way of communicating with spotify, I am forced to use this avenue. 

 

Please do not use the email in the spotify subscription as that has been compromised. My email is emmanuelzyambo@yahoo.co.uk

 

I have been using spotify since its experimental days and I subscribe to the premium edition. A payment went out of my account 5 days ago. It will be a pity for me to be forced to instruct  my bank to cancel the subscription as I really love this service.

Who's your Spotify Star?

Thanks! THis has now been sorted out.

My Spotify account is being used by someone else and Spotify are not helping. They email me back every 2 days and only fix half the problem. The guy is called Tomasz Lukowski - I have tracked him via Facebook to Poland - he is a thief and using my account! 

 

Spotify won't speak to me on the phone and are not resolving this issue of fraud. 

 

The fraudster has even managed to change my own password and email address and now I can't use my own account THAT I AM PAYING FOR!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Shame on you Spotify for not resolving this for me after 2 weeks.
