How do I disconnect my Spotify account from my Facebook account?

I don't want the two together, I'm a private person and I don't want the two connected anymore but can't figure out how. Spotify seems to only want these two connected and I can't find the answer anywhere. If I can't figure out how, I'm just going to delete my Spotify account because this super-connected stuff is unneccisary.

Go to the top home meny, then click accountsettings/application and find spotify. Then simply just press the little "x" next to it. You will be logged out from your spotify, then press decline to sharing you information on facebook the next time you log on to spotify! Sorry for the type errors... Norwegian 😛

i dont udnderstand your instructions. do i go to home on facebook? or do i do something on spotify?

If you originally signed up for a Spotify username and password, just go to Spotify preferences and click "Disconnect from Facebook".

If you always used a Facebook account to log in, you can't disconnect. You must create a new account and start over without playlists.
