How to recover songs in "Your Music"

How to recover songs in "Your Music"

I accidentally deleted all my "Songs" (thousands) in "Your Music" on my Spotify Mac client (while I thought I had another Mac app in focus while quickly hitting CMD+A and delete).

 

This error has been synced across within just a few seconds before quitting the application. Is there a way to recover them (please)?

 

And could you add a popup in the feature, confirming such a destructive action (just like it happens with playlists)?

Welcome at the Spotify Community!

 

You may check if the recover page does help for you, if not then I'm sorry to disappoint you that you can't get your songs back.

The recover page: https://www.spotify.com/account/recover-playlists/

You won't be able to restore Your Music from your online account since it isn't a playlist. Quickest way to get them restored is to get in touch via Twitter: @SpotifyCares and see if they can lend a hand. 

You can also get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to lend a hand. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Fortunately, I had another Spotify instance on a different Mac where I first disabled Wifi (to prevent sync), then selected the whole Library (all Songs) and created a new playlist which was then synced across as soon as I restored the internet connection. Starting from there, I added all Songs back again — or at least most of them.

Looks like you are very lucky. Great to see that you could restore them by yourself.

I deleted a song line a half year ago and i cant seem to find it how can i find it plz help ahahha
