I want to change my Spotify Artist name

Hello,

I would like to change my Spotify artist name from "ZEALEST" to "zealest" (basically from all caps to lowercase). I distributed my music via DistroKid, but I no longer have access to the DistroKid dashboard since my subscription expired. This means I can't change the metadata through their platform anymore.

Is there any way to force this name change, or am I doomed ?

Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, Spotify can’t change your song or album titles, album art, or artist name manually.

Spotify receives your music, album art, and track info via metadata delivered to them by your label or distributor. And they're only able to display this content in the way it’s presented to them.

If something’s wrong with your name or music, you’ll need to contact your distributor and have them submit an update to Spotify.
