I want to link my Spotify to Facebook, but apparently my Facebook has an account already?

So, I've been using spotify for about a month now and I really like it. I even got premium on this account. Only recently however, I've decided I want to link this account to facebook. I've tried doing it through the web player, the program, and through facebook and it seems as if instead of linking the two I've managed to create a spotify account for my facebook account. So, now I have 2 accounts I suppose? One of which (my primary account) has premium, and yet cannot connect to facebook because of this second account I've accidentally set up. 

Any help on how I can fix this?

TL;DR I want my spotify account to be connected to facebook, but to do so, I think I've got to get rid of the account my facebook already has.

This is a common problem 

Try getting in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to help you.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
