It keeps saying wrong password when I want to pay for another month of Premium...

Since I could obviously log on to Spotify (or else I wouldn't be able to write here in the first place) I got the right password. I've been trying several times to pay for another month of Premium, but it just won't take my password. But when I log on to begin with it's not a problem. This has never happened before. What do I do?

Are you trying to redeem a voucher or change your payment method? Where exactly is it going wrong and do you get any error message? Any chance of a screenshot?

Sometimes this happens if you usually login using Facebook but you really have a Spotify username style account where you need to also enter the password for your Spotify account (not just your Facebook details).

I'm trying to buy one month of Spotify Premium using Pay-as-you-go. I don't use facebook to log in. I use my spotify username and password like I always have, and it hasn't been any problems before. I can use the password to log on to Spotify, so it's just when I want to pay that it says the password is wrong. It doesn't make any sense... 😞

This might sound strange, but would you be able to change your password (which can be done from here) and then try again?

I didn't help... 😞

It's the last day to upgrade today (or maybe tomorrow), and I don't know what to do...

I think this is going to require a little more digging, can you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to lend you a hand getting this sorted out.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
