LOOP - Cannot log into spotify *please help*

hi there,

 

i have not used Spotify for over a year. LAst Used was in London, now I am in Sydney. I cannot find any information to help with the looping problem i am experiencing...if someone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Here is what is happening...

 

Quick overview...when I try to log into my mac air, it tells me my country doesn't match. When I click through to my account to update it, first it says i am in UK, then when page refreshes, automatically it shows Australia, yet wants me to change my password, which i do successfully, but then it drops the country and when I update the country, it loops again and again and again. 

 

Here are the steps I take, if it helps..

 

1. I try to log into spotify on my mac air
2. On the login box, it says my country does not match what is on my profile. I click to go to my profile.

3. in my profile it says United Kingdom (which is where I used to live)

4. i click "Edit your link" link to update these details to my new country (Australia)

5. when i enter this section, it seems that Australia is already my profile country (even though on the screen previous it said United Kingdom) so i go to the bottom to click SAVE PROFILE just to make sure it remembers that i am in Australia.

YET when you then scroll again to the bottom, the entire "Change password" section is in red as though it thinks I need to change my password. Yet I am not changing my password.

At this point, nothing will update

so..I try to do what it seems to want...

6. I enter my password twice and click save password. to change my password...

 

Then I need to enter my current password, so I do that also. Click Save.

 

7. The page refreshes, and now the country drop down has emptied, and is bright red and it wants me to again choose my country.

so I choose my country...Australia and click Save at the bottom.

 

Again, the page looks like it has saved, but if you go to the very bottom, again the change password section is red and the form wants me to do it over and over and over again in a loop.

 

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

So when you open your profile directly, can you change your country?

Are there any other errors on the page, errors relating to the email address field are pretty common.
