Merging two Premium Accounts into one Premium for Family account

My wife and I both have a premium account. We would like to get one Family Account. How can we merge those two accounts into one family account in such a way that we keep all playlistst etc of the account that we will give up? Thanks!

Hey @loekvandoorn,

All members of a Premium for Family plan would need to have their own account so merging two accounts into one wouldn't make much sense as you won't be able to listen to music at the same time etc. 🙂

Wasn’t the whole idea that within a Family Account you have the same benefits of the more expensive individual Premium Accounts? If I would merge my wife’s premium account into our ‘Family Account’; I presume she cán listen to her own music at the same time? Thanks!

No, she won't be able to listen to music at the same time using the same account that you use. It's only possible when all members of a Premium for Family plan will have their own account.

I want to do the same thing.  The spotify webpage given in the first reply states that you can listen together but also separately so to me that implies at the same time.   Although it is ambiguous and, sadly, there doesn't appear to be a facility to check with Spotify directly which is rather irksome!!!
