Hi there
I am just wondering from what country the payment from my credit card is charged? I need to know this to be able to resubscribe since I have changed credit card provider. Is the payment date based on when I subscribed or is it always the same date?
The card I am using now and will use with the spotify account is also a Swedish one. When I am trying to resub.. my card is being declined for some reason and the only reason I can figure out is that the location of the payment charging my credit card is from another country. The fact that is might be so is that I have with the security options connected to my bank and credit card declined any purchases or withdrawals from my credit card from countries outside Scandinavia. This is why I need to know the country to where the withdrawals are made from. I need to enable that country upon resub and payment date for the transaction to take place.
I recommend checking out this FAQ page: Problems to pay for Spotify.
Be sure your card meets all of those requirements and then try again. If you're still having trouble, it's worth trying to pay via PayPal using the same card.
So what you are saying is that you can't or won't tell me to what country the transactions a made to? Cause I know why my card is declined, I need to active the country the transactions are pointing to, hence my question. This is a security feature provided for me by the card provider and my bank and I intend to use it as much as possible to make sure my money is as safe as it can be when using the card on the internet.
None of you have answered the question and there is no FAQ page here that will. Reading about stuffs I already know isn't gonna help. So I take it as you don't know the answer then.
I have been trying for a number of days to change my payment country without success. I do not understand why this is so difficult!
I live in Mexico and my account is in Mexico. I have a United States credit card and a United States Paypal account, neither of which apparently will work with Spotify. I try to follow the instructions to change my payment country and when I change it to the United States, it tells me the zip code is not valid for the country. Amazing as that is how all of my mail is delivered!
So please tell me how to pay for your premium version.
When the rest of the world can do international financial transactions seamlessly, why are you guys so difficult?
