Playlists Gone after UPDATE. Please HELP?!!

 I have recently logged on to my computer to find my playlists are gone.

I use my  facebook log in to sign in to my spotify account, rarely I would have to log in as it would be open when my computer boots up.

I have recently updated my spotify.

I have also tried the recovery steps to recover your playtlists but nothing seems to be working. Its annoying as I was only listening to my playlists a day ago.  

Please can somone help me. I have spent ages compiling my playlists and don't want to start again.

Hey LoneWolf,

If it's your Facebook details you use to log into Spotify, try logging into Facebook itself then searching the Spotify app in the Facebook search bar. When that opens that should log you right into your account with the playlists.

I have done that, it comes up with no playlists. It just brings me to  a page where it asks me to opne a spotify browser or download spotify. 

Is there anyway you can look into my account and see what has happened? I may have duplicate but I highly doubt it.

Hey 🙂 

It does sound like you might have a duplicate account, can you try the steps outlined in this post (if you have a Spotify username). 

If not, drop an email to support using the contact form and they will be able to get to the bottom of this for you.
