Premium Account/Playlists Missing

Premium Account/Playlists Missing

I went to a dinner on Saturday and was in charge of music. I opened my Spotify and let my friend choose the music (username mkhurlbutt ). Now this Monday morning I am trying to listen to Spotify at work, but though the account was under my name, it was all mkhurlbutt's music. I followed some troubleshooting steps, logged out of both spotify/facebook, changed password. Now my account seems to have been recreated and I'm seen as a new user (u/n alaitseggai ).  All the playlists, etc, I've made seem to still be online and active (Had friends check), but I cannot access them.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

I would suggest you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to look into your accounts for you in more detail.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
