Songs on playlist no longer playing

I'm not quite sure how long this issue has been going on because I wasn't checking it, but using the desktop version for windows, I was trying to play certain songs, and they wouldn't play. Then I noticed the preview screen jumping all over the place, as if A LOT of songs were having issues and it just kept picking the next one until one played.   

When I go to a specific song, it doesn't play and an error pops up "cannot play song"  but every other song on the album plays without fail in any order I choose.  So what's going on?

That doesn't sound quite right.

Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial.
