Spotify connects to Sonos but no connection ?

Spotify connects to Sonos but no connection ?

Since my Sonos update last Sunday Spotify refuses to work in Sonos. If I remove the Spotify service and then do the steps to get the service back in the sonos everything seems to work perfect, the icon appears in the music service. But then it doesn't work and states there is no connection. If i try somebody elses Spotify account in my Sonos is works perfect. Al other services of my spotify premium account work perfect.  To have no misunderstanding my premium account is active and paid for. Why cant i contact Spotify directly?????

Hey there, if you get in touch here one of our support team will get back to you as soon as they can. If your Spotify account is working okay on other devices, which it sounds like it is, it's also worth getting in touch with Sonos directly as the issue may well be at their end.

ok i contacted them. I dont think the problem is with Sonos because with a account from somebody else it works on my Sonos.

Geachte heer Corbeek,

Met de onderstaande informatie zou Spotify uw account weer werkende moeten kunnen krijgen binnen Sonos.

The Sonos diagnostics show that the Spotify account with username 1111380023 is unable to obtain a Device Authentication Token from Spotify, preventing the Hardware Device Link between Sonos and Spotify. The account is not being provisioned correctly which leads us te believe that the "hardware partner" flag is not set, or not set correctly. Please update the account parameters to allow the device link after which the account should work on Sonos. We have of course confirmed that the issue is not related to the Sonos hardware devices by successfully adding and using a different Spotify account on these devices.

Did you get in touch with Spotify support like Adam suggested above? Definitely looks like an account issue on Spotify's side.

Bedankt voor je bericht.

Kun je voor mij even de volgende handelingen.

De stekkers van de router en de bridge van SONOS er uit halen en vervolgens er weer in doen. (just pull out the plugs)

So, no help at all,

Just reply back saying it's not fixed and someone else should get back to you with more help.

I did of course within 5 minutes but no reaction at all (24 hours later), sorry 100 hours

Does Spotify have a fax nr , maybe that is the way to contact them ? or telegraph ?  😞
