Spotify for artist profile on different name to released songs

Solved!

Spotify for artist profile on different name to released songs

Hi. I was lucky enough to be a finalised in a NZ youth songwriting contest twice. As a result my songs were professionally recorded and released as part of their albums by them, but under “Mila Jones” which is my proper name.

However my artist name is Mil0 and all my socials are under Mil0 and I want to be Mil0 not Mila. I have created a Spotify account as Mil0. How do I “move” these songs to be under Mil0 rather than Mila Jones? Do I have to release them through a distributor under my new profile?

thanks!

I'd recommend getting in touch with the folks over at Spotify for Artists for this one: they specialize in helping artists like yourself and can guide you on how to best proceed in this situation. You can reach out to them by heading here and selecting Contact Us, located at the bottom of the webpage.

We're here if something else comes up in the meantime.
