Spotify has deleted my data after I deactivated facebook

Spotify has deleted my data after I deactivated facebook

Hi all

I recently deactivated my facebook and found that afterwards I couldn't use my spotify account as my spotify account was linked to my facebook account. Spotify said I would have to reactivate facebook and change the settings. So I did this and deleted the app on my facebook and logged into Spotify using the new password. However, now spotify doesn't seem to 'remember' me and has deleted all my old playlists and starred songs etc. It also doesn't seem to know I have a premium account. It's just like I am a brand new member.

Is there any thing I can do to get these back?

Many thanks

Sophie

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

Don't panic, your old account will still exist in the Spotify system, it's login details will just have been overwritten by your "new" Facebook account. If you could get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they can lend a hand to get your old account restored.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
