Using a new card for payment

Using a new card for payment

I have had to switch debit cards because of a breach. Because of this, spotify couldnt take out my payment and canceled my premium. Now that I have my new card, I have tried three times in two days to use this card as payment however I keep getting the same message. A red bar shows up and tells me that I need to put in a valid expiration month. I have tried 08/20, 8/20, 08/2020, and 0820. Nothing works. Anyone have any ideas on how to proceed? I know the card works and has plenty of funds....thanks
