When I import local files and they are also on Spofity - which one is imported?

Solved!

When I import local files and they are also on Spofity - which one is imported?

Ok, so if I have song locally and it's also available on Spotify, when I play it from Spotify does it play Spotify file or my local file?

Also, similar question: if I save file to a playlist and download it to my mobile for offline use, will it download my local file that is on computar or the one that is on Spotify servers?

I'm asking this because you can have situation where you have local file and it's also available on Spotify server, and those files might be very different quality. For example my local file is 128 kbps, and on Spotify it might be 320 kbps (I'm premium user). So which of those two files is downloaded to my mobile, computar local file or spotify one?

Thanks,

Nikola

I actually do not know the answer to this question, I would assume it used the local file, but you may wish to test it.

Computer deffo for desktop, see my previous answer for mobile.
