When I skip, the song doesn't play

When I skip, the song doesn't play

So I like to play songs from my tablet over Bluetooth to my stereo. But everytime I skip a song the next song appears to play through, but there's no sound. I randomly click somewhere on the bar that shows how much if the song is playing and the song works. Sometimes when listening to music to sleep, random songs play through in silence until the next song ticks over, then I can hear the music. What do I do for this? I've tried logging out if all my devices and back in, but no change.

Hello there!
I had the same issue. Try erasing all cache from the app (or even reinstall), and maybe that will fix the problem. It worked for me.
Let us know if it works!
Cheers

I reinstalled it on a new phone and it does the same thing for me too.

The problem is when i try to skip a song. I skip one song and the ona that i skiped to is not playing. Any help. ( I already reinstaled, have memory )

My Question or Issue

I'm having the same problem as FRIX_, I also tried a clean reinstall and clearing the cache. Nothing worked. Unusual thing is that sometimes if I skip twice, the second song plays, while if I skip only once it doesn't.
I'm also running Android 14, Poco X5 Pro 5G. Premium Plan.

Hey @bennybenny and @FRIX_,

Thanks for posting in the thread!

You did mention a reinstall, but just to be on the safe side I recommend a clean reinstall which is more detailed and you can follow the steps here if you've not already done this.

Additionally, let us know if you noticed when this behavior started and if it happens when you've connected a Bluetooth device to your devices and if you've tested with another internet connection. You can test with another Wi-Fi network or other mobile network if that's possible.

It'd also be helpful if you could disconnect the Bluetooth devices (if you're streaming on them) and test with playback directly from your mobile devices.

The more info you provide, the easier it will be to investigate and we'll be on the lookout for your responses 🙂

You are right. What I've done was a clean reinstall, my fault for not specifying it.
First of all, this behaviour happened with and without a bluetooth device connected, AND with the equalizer activated.
Switching the equalizer off will solve it. The problem is: I want to have the equalizer active so that I can personalize the playback. I didn't test with other devices, as of the moment I'm keeping the equalizer off.
After doing some research, apparently this is a known issue for Android. I hope it will be fixed soon.

Hey @bennybenny,

Thanks for the reply!
