Why just 10 hours of streaming directly after sign up?

Hello, I've just signed up to spotify some days ago, I've read that there should be unlimited streaming in the first 6 months and only after that time with a time limit of 10 hours per month..

Unfortunately I now have this time limit right from the beginning..

Is there anything I can do to get the 6 months of unlimited usage..

Do you log into Spotify using Facebook? 

If so, be aware that if you accidentally clicked a Spotify link whilst logged into Facebook in the past (easy to do) then your account will have been created then. If that is the case, then there is nothing Spotify can do since they (to my knowledge) can't reset the limit.
