Will I lose my playlists if I update my country payment method?

Will I lose my playlists if I update my country payment method?

I recently moved from Ireland to the US and I need to update my payment details to a US card. I see the instructions online on how to do this, but when I moved to Ireland initially from the US, it deleted my account with all of my US playlists and made me create a new one and it was very sad/frustrating. Is there a way to avoid this happening again when switching my payment method?

Hello there!

 

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community. I'll try to help you clear things up.

 

You can follow these steps to update your payment details to match the country you're currently in. When you change your payment details, your playlists, music and other account info will remain the same. You should be able to keep your same account and log in using your regular email and password.
