Thanks for the response. However, problem still exists! Her name is still shown on the top right when I log into the app... When I login to the website account area it shows as 'mews73', but when I launch the beta web browser player her name (and photo) appear in the bottom left. It's maddening not to be able to fix it!
I have found from experience it takes a little time for the servers to catch up with changes to Facebook data/connections.
It will most likely sort itself out, the Spotify servers (and the client) temporarily store data to save on bandwidth and prevent loads of requests to retrieve Facebook data all the time which you can imagine might annoy Facebook! Once the system updates, it will know you are no longer connected to Facebook and should remove that data.

I also need to solve this. My spotify account is connected to the wrong facebook! You should integrate multiple facebook-accounts or have a disconnect button,
Hey Marcusz, welcome to the Community.
There is a disconnect button - just go into your Preferences (Win: Edit > Preferences | Mac: Spotify > Preferences) and scroll to the bottom.
This will only show up for accounts originally created through Spotify, but looking at your account this should all be good for you.
Hi!
I have the same problem. My facebook account is connected with the spotify account of my mother. Username; afemtr.
Can you please disconnect this.
Kind regards,
Marieke
I already fixed it. I made a new account for my mum. With her own facebook account.
Now i use her old username and changed the settings in my own name and email adres.
I got some problems with my spotify profil to, it's wrong name and profil picture, could you please help me change that ?:)
If she logs in with facebook - data through another spotify-account will that take her away from my spotify account? I dont have facebook and dont want her name in my spotify! Please help!
Yes. That should work.
However, you can disconnect by yourself. You have a Spotify username, so you will have the "Disconnect from Facebook" button shown in the earlier image.
Look in your Preferences (Win: Edit menu; Mac: Spotify menu), under "Social network".
