password not working

password not working

I've reset my password as my password wasnt working (was fine and worked on my phone and iPad), now I can get to the web player but the app says incorrect user/pass????

Hi there,

 

Thanks for reaching out via the Community and welcome to the forum!

 

It's odd that your password works in the Web Player, but not in the Spotify app and there can be different reasons why you're seeing this error message.

 

To start, make sure you're entering the correct credentials and test logging in either with your username or email address and password.

 

If it's still not working, it's worth giving Spotify a clean reinstall just in case, as corrupted cache can cause different performance issues. You can check the steps here.

 

Additionally, let us know if you're currently able to log in to the app on another device.
