premium account linked to wrong Facebook, attempted to swtich, lost account

premium account linked to wrong Facebook, attempted to swtich, lost account

Hi all,

I looked around a bit, and didn't quite fit the exact answer to this.

So yesterday I purchased a premium account with my email address.  What I'd forgotten, was that the email was linked to an old Facebook account.  This reactivated that account, then, in probably my own mistake, I attempted to steamline the accounts by deactivating that facebook and claiming the email address I used for my Spotify account on my current Facebook.  This seemingly deleted my premium account, and switched me over to a trial/free account.

Would love to get my playlists back, or at least reconnect to premium/mobile access.  Thanks in advance for the help!

I have done something very similar. I set up an unlimited account in Dec 2011, subsequently linked it to a Facebook account which I deactivated a few days ago, then re-opened a Facebook account in the hope that I would get back my Spotify account but instead ended up with the free version. I just want to play music without ads, and I am still paying for a service I cannot access.

.

As I am certain that I initially set up my Spotify Unlimited account directly (that is, independent of Facebook) I am assuming that Spotify can send me my original username. I do hope so, else I shall have to close the account - which I can't do because I need to log in to close it! How I detest Facebook.!

Hi KyleBrown & buxton4472 - We can certainly help get your Premium to your active accounts.

However we'll need to confirm a couple quick details first. If you head over our contact form our payments team can take over from there.
